Being that our family is Jewish, we have much different traditions that we observe on Christmas Day, although we do get together with our Christian friends to join in with their holiday celebrations.

I converted to Judaism back in 2003 so I used to celebrate Christmas, and to this day still have many fond childhood memories, like the evergreen aroma of the tree and the intense anticipation on Christmas eve of waking up to open presents and to see if Santa had eaten the cookies that we had left the night before. Converting to Judaism opened up a whole new world of Christmas day activities like sleeping as long as we chose on Xmas day. It's also movie day for many of us. We try to take in two, maybe three movies which is followed by a bunch of our Jewish friends going out for Chinese food. Why Chinese you might ask? Usually because they are the only restaurants open on Xmas day, and for some reason, Jews seem to be drawn to Chinese cuisine. One of the main highlights during this time of year is sharing the customs and traditions of Judaism and Christianity between close friends!
