Having been the first female winner on The Voice, Cassadee Pope is certainly one of Country Music's biggest up and coming stars. She's already been nominated for a Grammy for her duet with Chris Young, and has won a CMT Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year with "Wasting All These Tears".

She was the headliner at this year's Taste of Greater Danbury Festival, and I was lucky enough to get a chance to sit down and talk to her about her rock 'n' roll roots, her influences in country music, her time on The Voice, and then we wrapped it all up with a fun game of Truth or Dare. Check it out:

See, I told you that was fun. Cassadee actually started out in a rock group called Hey Monday, but grew up listening to country music, so it wasn't much of a surprise when she wound up on Team Blake during season 3 of The Voice. She became the first female to win the competition, and shortly afterward, released her first solo album as a country artist, which debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Music Chart, and hit #1 on the Country Chart.

As we closed up our very nice chat, I decided it was time to have a little fun, so we played a round of Truth or Dare. How did Cassadee do? Watch it here:
