Harrison Mauldin, a 2013 Ridgefield High School grad, was diagnosed in March with cancer. In fact, he’s been diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma which is a very rare form of leukemia.

Many remember Harrison for his days playing Lacrosse at Ridgefield high school before going to Bard College to play. The Ridgefield Press quoted coach Roy Colsey, saying:

Coaches love coaching a player like Harrison Mauldin. He was willing to do whatever was asked of him.

...Harrison did whatever we needed. He had a great attitude, a really great, positive attitude.

He's now undergoing chemotherapy, and the family needs our help with medical expenses. They have set up a YouCaring.com page and others have planned some great fundraisers to assist in the cause. One of them is a classic car show coming up in July featuring muscle cars, street rods, low riders, and more. The Hot Rods for Harrison car show will be at the Lounsbury House, 316 Main Street, Ridgefield Connecticut, Saturday July 16th, from 10 am to 4 pm (rain date July 23rd). There will be a 50/50 Raffle, door prizes, food vendors, trophies, best in show plaques, goodie bags for the first 100 cars, and it’s only $15 per car.

The Memory Lane Cruisers Car club of Ridgefield Connecticut are fielding donations of any kind to help fuel this event. To donate, help out or for more info call David Coles at (203) 948-2179.
