Carmen Anthony May Be Closed in Waterbury, But Not Woodbury

Losing a legendary Waterbury steakhouse is sad, but you can still get a great meal in Woodbury from Carmen Anthony.

News broke last week that two of the three area Carmen Anthony Restaurants in Waterbury and New Haven have closed.

I've been to the Waterbury restaurant a few times over the years, but never the New Haven location. My favorite of his three places is still open and serving up their signature dishes.

Carmen Anthony Fishhouse, located at 757 Main Street South in Woodbury, is in a great location.

Main Street in Woodbury is a foodie destination, four world-class restaurants within a few blocks - Carmen Anthony Fishhouse, John's, Market Place, and Good News Cafe are all excellent.
