I-95's Brews & BBQ launches on May 13 at the Ives Concert Park, which gave Lou and I a revolutionary idea geared towards the serious backyard barbecue masters.

We are searching for Connecticut's Amateur BBQ Champion. You will be competing in one category and one category only -- PULLED PORK.

If you've been braggin' about your pulled pork recipe for years, click on BrewsandBBQFest.com to enter. Beginning on Tuesday, April 18, we'll welcome our first three contestants to the I-95 studios, where Lou and I will sample and then judge the pulled pork based on appearance, creativity, tenderness, and taste. We'll do the same on Tuesday, April 25 and May 2.

Each Tuesday, one of our three contestants will be declared the semifinalist winner, and will compete at Brews & BBQ on May 13 for the chance to become Connecticut's Amateur BBQ Champion!

Let's recap. Lou and I are looking for you to cook up a tasty plate of seasoned barbecued meaty goodness, and then transport it to the I-95 studios, where we will taste and judge.
