It's that time of year again, and i95 will be holding our annual Camping For Cans Food Drive the weekend of November 16-18.

We'll be set up at a new location this year, in the parking lot of Costco Wholesale in Brookfield at 200 Federal Road. Thanks to our friends at Dave's RV, we'll be staffed up 24 hours a day from 6 AM Friday November 16 through 4 PM Sunday, November 18. You can stop by anytime day or night with your non-perishable food donations to benefit the Hillside Food Outreach.

Hillside Food Outreach does great work. According to their mission statement on their website,

Hillside Food Outreach is working to end hunger among our most vulnerable neighbors in  Fairfield, Westchester, and Putnam Counties.  Hillside Volunteers home deliver healthy and nutritious foods to over 2400 men, woman and children, low income people who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to access local pantries.

We serve the elderly who must choose between medicine and food…families who are struggling to make ends meet and also feed their children and those with health issues who need better nutrition and healthier food.

Hillside has warehouses in Danbury and White Plains. They are a staff of three dedicated people with an army of over 350 equally dedicated volunteers. They do great work.

As you're picking up your food for Thanksgiving, please throw a few extra cans in a bag (or run into Costco and grab a pallet!) and drop it by our broadcast tent. Every year, we're blown away and humbled by the generosity of our listeners, and we're hoping for another great year. Thanks in advance for helping out, from the entire i95 team.
