Brookfield Historical Society Honors Local Residents Lost on September 11th

The 14th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks is coming up this Friday. It's hard to believe that much time has passed.

There are permanent memorials in place in different parts of the country, but this past weekend there was a memorial display for local residents who lost their lives.

According to The Danbury News Times, The Brookfield Historical Society held the exhibit this past weekend on September 5th. The memorial display featured personal testimonials and recorded acts of courage by Brookfield first responders.
