This year we decided to try something different for our 8th annual "Camping for Cans."  You know "Camping for Cans," but if you don't I'll tell ya.

"Camping for Cans" is our annual non-perishable food drive benefiting the Hillside Food Outreach which is a great organization that helps feed the less fortunate.  Every year myself and Ethan would camp out in an RV in the Berkshire Shopping Center in Danbury, CT and collect food and cash for those in need.

A few years back the two of us stopped sleeping the night and asked for help broadcasting from the rest of our air staff and that formula has been more successful.  We are doing it again this year.  Same location, place and time but with a twist.

This year we have gotten our hands on a live turkey named Willy. Willy will be on site with us for three days bringing joy to all those who see him thanks to Halas Farm in Danbury.

However, if we do not reach our financial and food goals the bird gets it.

That's right off with his head, the old dirt nap, the last dance. You get the idea. So, bring out your non-perishable food items, cash and checks made out to the Hillside Food Outreach and encourage friends and family to do the same.

Camping for Cans takes place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Berkshire Shopping Center in Danbury. We start broadcasting live at 5:30am on Friday morning and we will be there around the clock until Sunday at 4pm.

Do your part to help out those in need this holiday season and thank you in advance.  Also, let the bird live man.
