To Catch a Predator was a disturbing television show.

The concept has been revived, and is now being called "Hansen vs. Predator." Production on the new web series has begun, and it has already resulted in arrests.

If you're not familiar with Chris Hansen, he hosted "To Catch a Predator" on a couple of NBC Network channels and used Kickstarter to fund his new endeavor.

The concept is supposed to be the same:  adult producers pose as minors, engage in sexually-explicit chats with adults, and after a meet-up is arranged, the alleged abuser is confronted by Hansen and often arrested by police.

Putnam Daily Voice is reporting that 64-year-old Michael Gentile of Brewster, NY was arrested this past weekend in Fairfield, CT during filming of "Hansen vs Predator." Fairfield Police also charged 19-year-old Vincent Ambrosio of Wappinger Falls, NY, and 32-year-old Michael Manzi of Harrison, NY, plus seven other Connecticut and Massachusetts residents also were arrested during filming.

Each of the men face various charges including Enticement of a Minor, Criminal Attempt at First-Degree and Second Degree Sexual Assault, and Criminal Attempt of Risk of Injury or Impairing the Morals of a Minor.
