To say that I am excited about this would be an understatement.

There are certain bands where all you need to do is hear them after a long period of not hearing them, and you get transported back in time. According to Aesthetic Magazine Toronto, Travis Barker says a new album is ready with two singles coming soon, and a tour to follow.

There was a time when I thought this would never happen, but, it's happening now, and the good news is that the guys don't look 100 years old. There is nothing sadder than watching really old dudes performing young men's music while looking like Charlton Heston.

A lot of "real" punk fans said Blink was garbage, and most classic rock fans think it's crap as well. I don't really care. This music makes me want to do something stupid, which means it is having it's desired effect. Making me feel much younger than I am.

The only question for me now is, "Do I go to see one of the shows?" It's probably not gonna be a good look for me pushing 40, and squeezing into my old Blink concert T to party with the kids. It's just sad, right? I'll be dodging skateboards and mosh pits on bad knees. The only way to look semi-cool is to dress like a normal human, bring my kids, and pass down the music of Blink to a new generation.
