Big Time Shift Happening For Two Major Connecticut Interstates

We have three major interstates that bisect Connecticut. Those three have major construction projects that have been going on for the past five years or more.

One of those projects is the Q-Bridge undertaking, which after at least five years, will soon be complete. If you are a frequent traveler in the New Haven corridor, you witnessed first hand the massiveness of this project and the changes in driving patterns it has created.

There is a pretty huge change about to happen, so please share this info. A major shift is coming to the interchange where Interstates 95 and 91 meet in New Haven.

In a story reported by Fox61, a first time occurrence is about to take place. For the first time since the highway opened decades ago, the exit from I-95 north to I-91 will be on the right side of the road. Traffic headed to I-91 north has always exited on the left. The change will take place early Saturday morning July 16, and the highway will be closed for a short period of time as the changes take place.
