According to the News-Times, Neyda Sposato of 42 Benedict Road in Bethel, an administrative assistant at Unilever, felt she needed some time away. She's been charged with using her corporate credit card, without authorization, to the tune of $22,000. She kicked off her spending spree by allegedly purchasing a sizable amount of clothing and jewelry from Macy's and Rochelle's Jewelry in Danbury.

Sposato apparently wanted to look sharp for her $7,000 trip to Medellin, Columbia purchased with the Unilever credit card according to police officials. To ad insult to injury, Sposato failed to return to work when she returned to the states and supposedly continued to use the corporate credit card to purchase a $340 pair of sunglasses and other various items. She also "forgot" to return the company's laptop computer saying she didn't have any way to get there.

She was charged with first degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card, and criminal mischief. After posting $100,000 bond, she was released pending arraignment on July 28.
