The 14th Annual Festival of Trees kicks off on Friday, November 18 at 10 am with all of your financial support going to the many resources for cancer victims.

The Festival of Trees takes place at the Matrix Conference and Banquet Center, Exit 1 off I-84 in Danbury and kicks off on Thurs., Nov. 17 with a Prohibition Tree Party. On Friday, Nov., 18, beer and music lovers are invited to attend, The Taps and Trees Craft Beer Fest featuring tasty micro-brewed beer and amazing live music by Future Tense. Festival hours are Friday & Sunday from 10am until 4pm, and Sat., from 10am until 7pm.

Ann's Place is a non-profit community based organization that offers counseling, support groups, wellness activities, referrals to community resources, and educational programs to cancer victims, all at no charge. This year as in year's past, there are activities for every age group. I've heard from some of our listeners that they've been able to get the majority of their Christmas shopping all wrapped up at The Festival of Trees.
