According to FOX News, the city manager of Sunrise, FL (FLORIDA YOU SAY?!) is in hot water and facing possible termination after an alleged altercation over a bundt cake. Richard Salamon became Sunrise's city manager back in 2015 and that run may be over after visiting "Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery."

The report states that Salamon went in to "Nothing Bundt Cakes" last week and tried to redeem an expired coupon for a bundt cake valued at $3.99.  Dannie Augustin is the bakery owner and says one of his employees told Salamon the coupon was expired and Salamon asked that they "break the rules."

They refused to "break the rules" and honor the expired cake coupon and this is when employees say Salamon "had a fit." City commissioners are investigating the incident to determine whether Salamon should keep his job where he makes over 200k annually.

I am fully torn on this one. On the one hand, I think everyone is entitled to a bad day and I'd hate to see someone lose their job over having one. On the other hand it's a 4 dollar cake. You make 200 THOUSAND dollars a year..just buy one.

Then there is another thing that has me distracted here, who the hell eats a bundt cake? Sure, I've seen them before, usually on a counter, at a party, being overlooked in a sea of other tasty delights. I know people make these things, I know people buy them but I have never seen anyone consume one.

P.S. Love a good small business pun name. "Nothing Bundt Cakes" is a F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C name. They also could have gone with "Nothing Bundt the Best." Or there is "I like big bundts and I cannot lie."
