A Virginia TV reporter and her cameraman were killed earlier this morning in Moneta, Virginia following a shooting that took during a live broadcast on the WDBJ morning news program.

Before Mike Myers became synonymous with the green ogre named Shrek, his fellow SNL castmate Chris Farley was actually cast in the role and had recorded about 80-90% of his dialogue. Then, in 1997, Farley tragically died of a drug overdose, DreamWorks was forced to recast the role and, in doing so, radically rethink their version of Shrek. Today, the first footage of Farley as Shrek has popped up online and shows a very different character than the one we have come to know and love.

Kevin Bacon has a new movie coming out this month called Cop Car (a film directed by Jon Watts, the man behind the upcoming Spider-Man movie). To promote that movie, Bacon filmed a new PSA calling for more male nudity in films. Tom Holland Officially Cast as Marvel’s New Spider-Man
Via a press release at Marvel.com, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have announced that they’ve found their next Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. It’s Tom Holland, the 19-year-old British actor best known as one of the stars of The Impossible. The studios also announced they’ve chosen a director to make the next Spider-Man movie, and it’s a surprising choice: Jon Watts, the director of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival selection Cop Car.
