‘Friday the 13th’ Sequel May Finally Explain Why Jason Voorhees Can’t Die
A Friday the 13th sequel has been in development ever since Platinum Dunes’ remake hit theaters in 2009. After Paramount dated and rescheduled (and rescheduled) the upcoming sequel, we finally appear to have a new Friday the 13th film hitting theaters in 2016 — the thing is, we haven’t heard much about it. ‘Trainwreck’ Trailer: All Aboard the Amy Schumer Train
It’s here! The first trailer for Judd Apatow’s ‘Trainwreck,’ written by and starring the consistently delightful Amy Schumer! The film also marks something of a departure for Apatow, whose films have been mostly male-oriented. This time around, Schumer takes the spotlight as a successful, independent woman whose love life is a mess thanks to her deeply-ingrained aversion to monogamy. If we didn’t know any better, this could easily be a Paul Feig film—and that’s a compliment.

Sony Officially Cancels the Planned Christmas Release of ‘The Interview’
Following today’s release of a message sent from the mysterious group responsible for the massive Sony hack, the company has now informed theater owners that they can opt out of screening ‘The Interview’ if they are concerned about the terrorist threat. Although the Department of Homeland Security responded by saying they could find “no credible info” on planned attacks, Sony has decided to place the decision to screen the film in the hands of theater executives.
