If you live in Bethel, and you have questions or concerns that you would like to voice, then you might want to make a note of this event.

The Bethel Police Department will be hosting "Coffee with a Cop" next Wednesday, August 10, 2016. The event will take place at Jacqueline's Restaurant and Bakery at 138 Greenwood Ave.

This is meant to bring the community together. As stated in their flyer, there is no agenda and no speeches are planned. They are meeting with the community to address any questions or concerns residents may have.

I think this is a great way to meet with the public. You can not only have your questions addressed, but you can buy breakfast at Jacqueline's while you are there too. Jacqueline's is usually our "go-to" Sunday breakfast restaurant - love their pancakes!

Here are the important details:

  • What: Coffee with a Cop
  • When: Wednesday, August 10
  • What Time: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
  • Where: Jacqueline's Restaurant and Bakery

More and more towns are starting to do things like this, and I think that's wonderful. It's a really good way to get people from the community together, with the police department, in a relaxed environment.

Have you ever attended a Coffee with a Cop event?
