Fired CBS Exec Wonders Why She’s Hated After Having No Sympathy for Victims
According to the NY Post, Haley Geftman-Gold told the NYPD that she is being harassed by people who did not like her very public, hateful comments about the Las Vegas shooting victims.
Geftman-Gold was fired by CBS after a social media post that read:
If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered, I have no hope that Republicans will ever do the right thing. I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.
If I have said it once, I have said it a thousand times. Yes, you have the right to say whatever you want in this country, but it does not mean there will not be consequences.
One of the few major upsides to social media is that over a long enough timeline, we will get to see bad people for what they are. Anyone who can even think the words that she wrote, is a bad person and a major contributor to the problems we have in this country. If you want to talk about a lack of sympathy, I have none for her.
Innocent people were killed. Who cares what they believed in? Who cares who they voted for or how many guns they owned? Haley's got a tough road ahead and she deserves it.
