I don't honestly know if I am.

I have had some of what most people consider the most painful common injuries.

  • Chronic bad knees - multiple surgeries - and now I'm on crutches again for the one thousand and fiftieth time of my life.
  • Severe burns - That I would not wish on my worst enemy
  • Tooth pain - Just terrible
  • Ear infections - I have had chronic ear infections my whole life.

I can't even rank these because everyone you have at the moment is the worst.

Then I think about soldiers, veterans who have been shot, bombed, burned and survived. The excruciating pain they must feel and how I would handle that.  That takes a REAL AMERICAN BEAN-BAG to fight your way through that and the mental toughness that it takes to smile after losing a limb.

What about mothers?  They have to give birth and care for their kids in a way a dad can't understand.  Even the best dad is never the mom, not the same .., never knows her burden or his mother's burden and never will.

I guess the pain I feel now with my knee injury is making me reflect on real pain, and how I have never really felt it and I am thankful for that.

Thank you mom's and veterans and to those that are both.....GOD BLESS YOU
