If you or someone you know is a fan of all things spooky, scary and creepy then you need this info.

Do you love the idea of creepy places to stay, or at the very least the story behind what makes a place "haunted"?

OYSTER.COM is a hotel review website that has published its list of the world's scariest hotels.

The Oyster.com list of the 13 most haunted hotels is based on the creepy stories of hotel guests and staff members.

Number 1 is the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. Yes it's the hotel from a movie that I had to watch with my eyes covered for most of it! Did you guess?  It's the hotel from the "The Shining." Author Stephen King got his idea for "The Shining" after spending a night at the Stanley.

Number 2  on the list, the Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, is said to have a ghost dancer in its famous ballroom.

Number 3 on the Oyster.com list is the Emily Morgan Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. This one was once a hospital with a psychiatric ward. It's known for its unexplained noises, and for guests having the feeling that someone is touching them.

Want to plan a vacation? There's even two places you can drive to - one in Boston and one in Cape May. For the full list and story behind each of the infamous 13 click on OYSTER.COM

As for me, I'm staying put!
