This new research should be called "Color Pam Happy"!

According to researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, knocking back up to seven drinks a week appears to lower the risk of developing heart failure by up to 20%.

They based their conclusion on the results of a long-term study of more than 14,000 people between the ages of 45 and 64.

They did note that men seemed to benefit SLIGHTLY more than women from the protective effects of moderate drinking.

I'll take those odds!

I take an Ecotrin every night to protect my heart ... hmmmm. I probably shouldn't wash it down with a Vodka Tonic, but I'll do whatever it takes to keep my ticker protected!

And for a bit of fun ... enjoy AC/DC
