A Connecticut Wine Trail You Will Never Forget
There are 35 licensed wineries in Connecticut, so you can easily make a wine weekend out of it.
My advice right out of the gate is to either bring along a designated driver or hire a limo or limo bus, which will allow you to have a much better experience. Mindy and I -- along with a bunch of friends -- rented a limo and headed up into Litchfield county for an afternoon of wine tasting. I'm embarrassed to tell you that I've forgotten the names of the wineries we visited, which goes to show that pacing yourself is a skill well-learned.
Because there are over 30 vineyards in Connecticut, let's travel the northwestern Connecticut trail with the help of ctwine.com. It's the perfect time of year, especially if you're thinking about combining a fall foliage and wine tasting trip. We're going to begin our journey:
