Seems like it was just yesterday that we sucked down our first Slurpee and experienced that "pinch the bridge of your nose" brain freeze! Surprise, it's actually been 50 years!

Today is the 50th anniversary of the Slurpee. And 7-Eleven is celebrating LARGE with a bring-your-own-cup Slurpee special. 7-Eleven says you can bring in anything remotely resembling a cup, and get it filled up for a buck-and-a-half but there are some rules. The offer runs until 7 p.m. tonight.
