    Santa HQ At The Danbury Fair

    There's no better sign that Christmas is coming then the arrival of Santa at the Danbury Fair. Things have changed a bit over the years too. From a simple chair in center court with some holiday decorations, to what has now become Santa HQ presented by HGTV. The set up may be futuristic, but it's still the same Santa, and that can only mean that Christmas can't be too far away.

    Light The Lights Ceremony

    You could say it's not officially the Holiday Season until the 'Light the Light's Ceremony and Fire Truck Parade' in downtown Danbury. Where else are you going to get to see a massive parade of trucks all decked out for the season, and of course for most, it's our first glimpse of Santa.

    The Festival Of Trees

    The Festival, presented each year by Ann's Place, is really the first sign that the Holiday season is not far away. The weekend festivities benefits Ann's Place, which provides comfort, support and resources to people living with cancer and to their loved ones, and it usually takes place in late November officially issuing in the Christmas season in Danbury.

    Traffic On Federal Road And Exit 3 of I-84

    Nothing says Christmas is coming more then the traffic on Federal Road and by Exit 3 of I-84. It seems like it happens basically overnight. Once Thanksgiving is over the traffic on Federal Road almost triples, and good luck trying to get off exit 3 of I-84 from Black Friday until even after Christmas is over.
