Are you looking to make an impact in the world, but not sure where to begin?

Start at the Danbury Career Fair at the Ethan Allen Hotel on Friday, March 6 from 11 am to 3 pm. There will be several local employers on site accepting resumes for job positions that can help make the world a better place.

Here's who they are:

Green Chimneys offers nature-based therapy, as well as residential, educational and clinical services for children with special needs. Not only will you encourage proper stewardship of the environment at Green Chimneys, but you will also help nurture children who need a extra care.

They offer programs in Danbury and Putnam County and have full and part-time positions available in special education, farm and wildlife, outdoor education, summer camp and more.

Ability Beyond helps provides services for individuals with disabilities and helps them to find jobs, supportive living, as well as recreational and educational opportunities that help them live fulfilled lives. They are currently looking to hire counselors, mental health worker/aides, nurse-LPN, nurse-RN, human services workers and resident assistants. They’ll be collecting resumes for full-time positions at the Danbury Career Fair.

“Advancing the Human Spirit” is serious business over at Keystone Human Services. The organizations helps to empower adults and children to fulfill their potential through education, employment, creative expression, love and friendship. They will be collecting resumes at the job fair for both full-time and part-time mental health worker/aides and human services positions.

The possibilities of how one can earn a living while making effective positive in the change in the world are endless when one receives higher education. Naugatuck Valley Community College will be on hand at the job fair providing information about their educational opportunities.
