In a tough job market, how can you stand out among other job seekers?

Michelle Caffe, a business services' specialist from the Connecticut Department of Labor, stopped by the Townsquare Danbury studios to give us some tips before the Danbury Career Fair.

Here's what she said:

1.) Wear Proper Business Attire - Make sure your clothes are professional and that you are well groomed. First impressions are everything.

2.) Bring Copies of Your Resume - Always bring multiple copies of your resume with you to an interview or job fair. Many employers will be collecting resumes at the Danbury Career Fair, so  make sure you have enough for them all.

3.) Research the Company - Make sure you have all of the background information on your prospective future employer.

Her biggest tip ... be at the Danbury Career Fair on Friday, Oct. 9 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Ethan Allen Hotel in Danbury.
