  • A fire that broke out just before midnight Wednesday has hurt two people.The fire ripped through several condominiums at Heritage Village in Southbury. Residents from five units had to be evacuated after the fire spread to other units. Firefighters from Oxford, Roxbury, Newtown and Middlebury assisted Southbury in battling the blaze.
  • Connecticut officials are considering bringing back tolls to state highways, but with technology way more advanced than the days of toll booths. Tolling company officials say there are systems available that can track a vehicle and bill them based on the amount of distance traveled on toll roads. The committee is trying to figure out how to pay for Governor Malloy's $100 billion transportation plan.
  • Something to cheer about Connecticut! A new report indicates that our schools are rated among the best in the country. WalletHub.com places Connecticut as the ninth highest ranked state when it comes to schools. Connecticut ranks seventh when it comes to school system quality. Sadly we are 28th in the nation for school safety.
  • Now that's some CRAZY Brady love! A Massachusetts couple is making a serious sacrifice to show their support for Tom Brady. According to NECN, newlyweds Paul and Kellie Goodrow say they'll delay their honeymoon until Brady is cleared to play again.The love is evident on Paul's body - he has tattoos of the Pats logo, Brady, Tedy Bruschi and Bill Belichick.
