Recently, I've been whining about how expensive it is to make ends meet while living in Connecticut.

As I've told friends and family from time to time, "Instead of complaining non-stop, how about taking a step back and appreciate the good things in your life?"

So, I'm going to take my own advice, and point out ten reasons why Connecticut is so awesome.

New York City

The Big Apple is only a day trip away. It's only 90 minutes from northern Fairfield County, and 30 minutes from the southern part of the county.

Connecticut lays claim to some of the best burger joints in the country like Louis's Lunch in New Haven, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Dew Drop Inn, Derby, The Lakeside Pub, Danbury and T.K's American Cafe, Danbury.
